How long will it take to get a custom order?
The whole process will take about 4 weeks from ordering to delivery. This time includes designing, consulting with YOU the customer to finalize your design, hand painting or drawing, drying, sealing and varnish, and finally, shipping and delivery.
Do custom digital designs or art prints also take 4 weeks?
No! :) Digital designs and art prints do not involve painting, sealing, and varnishing, so the whole process from ordering to delivery will only take 2 weeks. This time includes designing, consulting with YOU the customer to finalize your design, hand or drawing, printing (if an art print), and finally, shipping and delivery.
Do I have to choose a Bible Verse for my custom piece?
Not at all. I have designed pieces with hymn verses, prayers, inspirational quotes, and even some pieces without any text. I'm happy to work with you on any custom design you have your heart set on!
I'm not very artistic... what if I don't know what I want for my custom piece?
All you need to know is what text you would like included, and any colors you'd like incorporated. If you know images or designs you'd like included, you can tell me, but part of the fun for me is coming up with the design FOR you! From there, you can tell me what you like or don't like, and we make corrections and adjustments from there.
What does ordering a commission include?
- You will receive two different first draft designs to consider.
- Once you take a look at them, you let me know what you like or don’t like (I don’t charge for additional changes so feel free to be as specific as you want! This is YOUR custom design after all).
- I take your notes and create a second draft design (and additional drafts and back and forth until you’re happy!)
- Once I get the “go ahead” from you to finalize the design I will start painting the final product!
- Once the painting is finished, varnished and cured, I will ship it to you! (This takes about two weeks after the design is finalized).
